#5: Heather Locklear (September 25, 1961 – present)
While studying at the University of California, Los Angeles, Heather Locklear began appearing in commercials, which quickly caught the attention of television mogul Aaron Spelling. In 1981, Spelling cast her as the ambitious Sammy Jo Carrington on the prime-time soap opera Dynasty. Locklear became a fixture of 1980s television by concurrently starring as Officer Stacy Sheridan alongside William Shatner in the gritty cop drama T.J. Hooker, balancing both hit shows for several years.
