Brigitte Nielsen grew up in Rødovre, Denmark, and left school at 16 to pursue modeling, working with designers such as Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace. Her striking height and signature blonde hair landed her a breakout role alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1985’s Red Sonja. That same year, she married Sylvester Stallone and became widely recognized for her role as Ludmilla Drago in Rocky IV.
