Few people make the ultimate sacrifice of serving their country in the armed forces in order to safeguard the lives of many others. These courageous men and women put their life on the line so that their fellow citizens can enjoy the benefits of freedom. As they make the supreme sacrifice of giving their lives for their country in battle, many members of the armed forces are not able to return to their homes to bid farewell to their families. We have a tendency to forget just how much these selfless people put on the line for the rest of us each and every day while they are out on the battlefield and putting their lives in danger for the rest of us. Right now, I think we should all just take a few moments to really let it sink in how daring and brave these people are. A significant number of people never get the chance to see their children become adults, or to bid their spouse and parents farewell. Before we begin discussing today’s topic, let us begin by expressing our gratitude to those individuals for the service that they have provided.

Not Enough Space For Everyone
Jessica took a quick glance around her and saw that she and everyone else were crammed into a very compact space with no room to move their legs. It was going to be a very long flight, and she sighed as she realized this, but as soon as she got her seat, she began to tighten up even more. On that particular day, she was aware that she would be uncomfortable, but she was unprepared for how uncomfortable she would feel.

She had just begun to make her way towards the seat when a man came directly at her and refused to let her sit down. She had no understanding why he said what he did, but as soon as he opened his mouth, she understood, and she felt obligated to respond in some way.
