Improvised
Instead of ordering a new glass to put the paintings behind, they improvised and put everything behind some rope that was kept together with metal poles. They gave each painting enough distance from the viewer so that they were out of reaching distance. But would he be able to keep everything safe?
This was the main question that everyone who worked at the museum wanted to know. They were most skeptical that the rope would not be enough to hold people back. They were about to find out just how that was going to play out in the time to come. It wouldn’t end nicely.
