Ewen Bremner
Ewen Bremner’s decision to be in Trainspotting, a dark thriller directed by Danny Boyle, was a turning point in his career. The controversial novel, which was written by the Scottish author Irvine Welsh, was used as the basis for the film, which was a commercial and critical success all over the world.
Since he started out in lowly circumstances in Glasgow, Bremner has come a very long way. He currently has starring roles in major Hollywood films such as “Wonder Woman” (2017) and “Pearl Harbor” (2001). Twenty-one years after the release of the first Trainspotting film, he reprised his role as Spud in the movie that was released in 2017.
