#6: Jennifer Garner Couldn’t Rescue a Weak Spin-Off (Elektra, 2005)
Jennifer Garner had already proven she could portray strong, physically demanding action characters, making Elektra seem like a natural next step. Unfortunately, the film struggled with an underdeveloped script, uneven pacing, and a story that never fully explored its central character. Garner committed to the demanding fight choreography and approached the role with conviction, but her efforts were constantly limited by shallow writing. Instead of expanding Elektra into a compelling standalone hero, the movie reduced her to a series of disconnected action sequences.
