#10: Harrison Ford
Indiana Jones was never supposed to move like an indestructible superhero. He gets tired, misses punches, falls badly, and frequently looks annoyed that adventure has found him again. Keeping the actor physically involved helped create that quality. Ford performed a substantial amount of action across the series while stunt legend Vic Armstrong and other professionals handled material requiring their specialized skills. Decades later, that instinct had not entirely disappeared. During Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023), visual-effects supervisor Andrew Whitehurst confirmed that much of the physical performance in the opening train sequence was Ford himself.
