#10: Greta Gerwig Lost a Gossip Girl Role Because She Didn’t Fit the Image
Before becoming an acclaimed filmmaker, Greta Gerwig auditioned for the role of Eva Coupeau in Gossip Girl (2007). She later joked that arriving in overalls hurt her chances because she took the character description too literally. Producers envisioned something very different, and the role eventually went to Clémence Poésy.
