There isn’t one correct way for any child to grow up, just as long as their health, well-being, and safety are all looked after there should be no issues. In the 1990s Klynn Scales was just a little girl living in Kansas City, Missouri with her mom and two brothers. And whilst she had a nice upbringing, her mom was struggling to make ends meet for her family.
It was no secret that things were hard in Klynn’s household, and this feeling began taking a toll on her at a young age. No child should have to feel like they need to carry the burden of their family on their shoulders, so Klynn began dealing with depression. But one day she came across an unexpected friend who would be able to help her with these feelings…
