Richard was well aware that his cabin door would have to be flawless. It would be the first thing people see when they enter the house, and it needed to have a woodsy feel to it.
The family delivered materials and plans to a carpenter, who transformed them into the cabin’s doors and windows. The straightforward design paid homage to the log cabin, which had to be demolished and rebuilt.
