The Ideal Dining Table
A harvest table was built by the Aikens’ Amish neighbors from a fallen walnut tree and local white oak.
The new harvest table was made to be light and portable so that they could relocate it closer to the fire when it became cold. Because they wouldn’t be running heaters into the house, this was a crucial aspect. When it came to building their country getaway, these people certainly thought of everything.
