A Sitting Room Constructed For A New Family
As if patching up a run-down hut wasn’t enough, the family was now expecting twins and on a tight schedule. An open design was essential for a small room with young feet soon to be running around.
Joanna Gaines covered the walls with her famed shiplap style and then built off-the-floor bookshelves to further highlight the room while also offering accessibility without sacrificing space. The room, which was covered in the same hardwood that ran throughout the house, was brilliantly accented by an area rug.
