#13: CC the Cat
CC, the first cloned cat, was created at Texas A&M University in 2001. Her birth drew attention because she looked genetically identical to the donor cat, yet behaved differently. Scientists used her story to show that genes alone do not fully determine personality or behavior in animals or people alike.
