We know that nobody likes to have awkward conversations with people in real life, you can not hide your face or show your discomfort. You want to be nice and polite usually towards whomever it is that you are having a discussion with. But over the phone, we removed the problems that we face in real-life communication. You can block someone, or just simply not reply if you do not like where the conversation is going.

But there are other times when you can not just avoid the awkwardness and run straight into it, having to painfully face it head on. Here are a few of those times people just had to make texting uncomfortable for themselves and us to witness. We hope that you can take these examples and learn from them, they are exactly the opposite of proper texting etiquette. Enjoy the list and make sure that the next time you pick up your phone, you think before you type.
Good talk
It seems like this person’s friend named Alex did not want to hang out with them, even though they live in the same city. The worst part of this is that even when they got no reply from Alex, they sent another message continuing the conversation with themselves. Just give up, it’s not happening.

There may be a good reason why Alex does not wish to speak or hang out with you. Instead of bothering your friend with a series of unanswered messages, don’t look so clingy and they might message you first. That’s a little bit of psychology for all of you out there that do not what to be needy people.
