System of a Down formed in California in 1994 and has always featured Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan. Their last studio album was Hypnotize (2005), followed by the singles Protect the Land (2020) and Genoc*dal Humanoidz (2020). Their chemistry remains central to the band’s distinctive sound.
