Big stars who sang for lesser-known artists

Before her solo career fully took off, Stevie Nicks recorded Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around with Tom Petty in 1981. Petty was already a major star, while Nicks was just starting alone outside Fleetwood Mac. Their duet helped launch Bella Donna and established Nicks as a successful solo artist immediately.
