Big stars who sang for lesser-known artists

In 1984, INXS were stars in Australia but still largely unknown in the United States. Producer Nile Rodgers invited Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates to sing on Original Sin. Hall’s smooth chorus helped spotlight a band that soon broke worldwide with Listen Like Thieves in 1985 and beyond thereafter.
