Big stars who sang for lesser-known artists

By 1977, Bay City Rollers were teen idols, but their popularity was fading outside Britain. Dusty Springfield, one of the great voices of the 1960s, sang uncredited backing vocals on The Way I Feel Tonight. Her smooth harmonies added polish to one of the group’s last major hits.
