Ameera Al-Taweel
Ameera Al-Taweel is a former princess who married her distant cousin, Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud. She assumed the role as Vice Chairperson of his charitable foundation, as well as stepped up to advocate women’s rights in her home country of Saudi Arabia.
However, in 2013, she divorced her husband/cousin, effectively relinquishing her royal status. In 2018, she married Khalifa bin Butti Al Muhairi, the chairperson of the KBBO Group. He, too, is a billionaire but without royal status. Khalifa is the seventh richest person in all of the UAE. The pair welcomed their first child back in 2019.
