Talking Loud
This one applies more to Americans in other countries, as it’s not something you’ll particularly notice in this country. There’s a theory that we talk loud because we have so much space. We have wide open spaces, big houses, and big public places. It’s like we’re trying to fill the void of all that emptiness with our voices.
But let’s be real; sometimes, it’s just because we’re excited or want to make sure we’re heard over the background noise. If someone thinks you’re talking loud, remember it’s not personal. We’re just trying to make ourselves heard in the land of the free and the home of the loud.
