Tipping Culture
Tipping culture is so different in each part of the world. Here in America, it’s expected to tip at least 15-20% for good service at a restaurant. Meanwhile, in Japan, tipping is considered rude. It can even be seen as an insult to the service worker’s ability to do their job.
And let’s not forget about Europe, where tipping customs vary from country to country. In Italy, it’s common to round up the bill to the nearest whole euro for good service, while in France, it’s expected to tip an extra 10-15% for great service. It’s like a global game, and the rules are constantly changing.
