Ghastly Gaps
The gaps in American toilet stalls are so big that they make privacy a myth! It’s not that the architects and builders have a vendetta against our personal space; it’s actually for safety reasons. The gaps are there to allow for ventilation and to make it easier for custodians to clean the restrooms.
The gaps also discourage drug use or other illicit activities inside the stalls. They keep the restrooms smelling fresh, and the custodians can ensure that everything is clean. We do it to benefit everyone else, and that’s something that other countries should be praising us for. We do it for the greater good!
