Arson, Beavis, and Butt-Head are All Characters in the Novel.
Today, the Beavis and Butthead cartoon is still seen as having had an adverse effect on society. At least on one occasion, it appears that this was the case. In 1993, a 5-year-old boy set fire to his own house while playing with matches.
Unfortunately, his younger sister died as a result of this calamity. According to the mother, it was because of the show’s influence that MTV moved it to a later time slot at 10:30 p.m. so that children wouldn’t watch it after school. They also prohibited the use of the phrase “fire” until 2011.
