It takes a village to raise a cat
Lucy was a stray cat that showed up randomly in a remote town located in northern Siberia around 2012. She was taken in by a local Russian woman, Nicola Erina, who gave the cat food, water, shelter, and the name that would be heard all around Russia and the world in the years to come, Lucy. The area that Erina lived in was bordering a dense forest, but unlike your typical image of a town with small homes, Erina lived in an apartment building. This meant that Lucy was well known to all the people inside the building who got to know her character very well.
