The art world has been around for a very long time. Everyone knows about the most famous art pieces that we keep in museums and travel from miles around to see them. It is very much an industry within itself and a lot of us live to see a beautiful piece of work. So it can be heartbreaking to hear about something getting destroyed or lost forever, especially if it was preventable. People have gone to jail for ruining pieces of art, imagine what the punishment would have been if it was a priceless object? If you are not a fan of art and don’t understand its value, just look around you for a moment. Everything you see has been designed by someone unless it’s organic of course. That means, some level of creativity and design went into the objects we use today. That’s right, art is everywhere around you at all times and deserves respect.
The hotel
Our story takes place in a hotel that is located in Hawaii. The hotel was named The Royal Pink Hotel and was even nicknamed The Palace of the Pacific for its iconic pink look. The entire hotel, in fact, is a historical landmark on the island and many movies have been filmed there since it was constructed.
Needless to say, the hotel already had a firm reputation as a place where things were happening all the time, shows galleries, and so on. So it was likely that people would be coming in and out to see what was inside the hotel and to take photos of his amazing pink walls.
