#3: Captain John Sheridan Replaced a Lead on Babylon 5 (1993–98)
Captain John Sheridan became Babylon 5’s (1993) central leader after Michael O’Hare left following the first season. Bruce Boxleitner brought a more forceful style to the role as the Shadow War intensified. Sheridan quickly became the show’s emotional center and proved that replacing a lead character could strengthen rather than damage a series.
