#5: Mr. Furley Helped Three’s Company Survive a Major Cast Change (1977–84)
Mr. Furley joined Three’s Company (1977) after landlords Stanley and Helen Roper left for their own spin-off. Don Knotts brought his familiar nervous energy to the role, creating a new comic dynamic around Jack, Janet, and the other roommates. His arrival helped the sitcom maintain its rhythm during a major cast transition.
