#5: Carrie Henn — Teacher
Carrie Henn had no previous acting experience when she was cast as Newt, the sole surviving child colonist in James Cameron’s Aliens. Despite the movie becoming a science-fiction classic, Henn decided she did not particularly want a Hollywood career. She returned to ordinary schooling, eventually earned a degree, and became an elementary-school teacher. Henn still attends occasional conventions and happily discusses Aliens, but she never pursued another substantial movie career. Surviving xenomorphs once was apparently enough.
