The Story of Carine and Chris is Intended to Serve As Motivation For People Who Find Themselves in a Situation Similar to Their Own.
Carine has an extremely positive outlook on what the future may hold for her book. She is resolute in her mission to inform everyone about the circumstances that may have led Chris McCandless to embark on the hazardous journey that ultimately cost him his life. Aside from that, Carine’s primary objective is to encourage and support people, especially those in her own family, when confronted with challenging circumstances.
However, given the circumstances, she had no alternative but to cast Walt and Billie in a villainous role. Carine is of the opinion that a villain does not have anything to teach anyone. On the contrary, she wrote her book with the intention of humanizing the characters in it so that others could benefit from the lessons she had learned. Carine believes that people will finally grasp “what pushed him to the edge” to comprehend better why Chris “left the way he did.” If this turns out to be a good concept or not, only time will tell.
