Daniel Tay
Daniel Tay is another actor who decided to quit the industry after only making a few appearances as an actor. His most recognizable role was a Michael Hobbs in Elf, as well as a younger version of Harvey Pekar in American Splendour. He also played a young Bobby in Brooklyn Rules.
However, following a handful of other rules, Tay quit acting and became a teacher instead. I’m not sure which career is more challenging – acting or teaching. Both of them involve a lot of telling other people what to do, but only one of them has a good number of holidays!
