#10: The Military Service
During World War II, Braddock enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served as a first lieutenant. He spent time in the Pacific theater, including Saipan, where he trained enlisted men in hand-to-hand combat. It was a fitting role for a former champion whose life had already taught him plenty about survival, leverage, and endurance. By then, Braddock was no longer chasing glory. He was using what he knew.
