Gen X was coming of age when “mom jeans” were cool, combat boots were a political statement, and flannel shirts signified a particular taste in music. Now that we’re all grown up (and cooler than ever), these late ’80s and early ’90s-era fashion trends have made their way back around again, and the generation that shepherded them is giving them a whole new twist. We’re looking at 13 clothing items making a comeback with the Gen X crowd (and influencing everybody else, too!)
