#6: They’re… Pretty Good
Tony the Tiger is one of the most well-recognized mascots in the country. As we all know, he’s the mascot for Frosted Flakes. Well, this indie food company decided to embed an homage to Tony in their packaging by incorporating a clever message. On the bottom corner of their packaging they wrote, “Approved by Wilber the Tiger, Tony’s third cousin, removed twice.”

In case there was any confusion, they concluded with the phrase, “Wilber says, ‘They’reeeee pretty good.” This Easter egg is a hilarious way to reference a famous mascot without any copyright infringement. Their product is probably really great, but Wilber would never say that. He knows better than to tread on Tony the Tiger’s catchphrase.
