Making a plan
Anyone who studies in this field knows that gaining access to the pyramids is not an easy thing to accomplish. It takes a lot of permission and government approval, from the state of Egypt beforehand. This is to prevent anyone from just walking in at random and damaging the old structures.
Both men knew about the rules and had to find out a way to work around them if they wanted to get inside. They decided that the best way to go about this was to lie and bribe their way into the pyramids. But would that be enough to gain access to one of the most protected archaeology sites on earth?
