According to Webster’s dictionary, jealous is a hostile feeling toward a rival or someone who enjoys an advantage you do not possess. Meanwhile, territorial is used to describe animals or people who feel a sense of ownership over a geographical location. So, you could say this person this person’s definition of both words is sort of spot-on.
Does that make her right? Sure, she can feel territorial about a manfriend of hers. However, he doesn’t have to appreciate her willingness to fight off any lionesses who wander into her territory. Sorry, but this metaphor sort of got away from us.
