Airline Roots
The letter Delta, which is the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet, is represented by the shape of the Delta Airlines logo, which is the source of the logo’s creative genius. The white lines within the logo can also be interpreted as the wings of an airplane. More specifically, they represent the DC-8, which was Delta’s first jet aircraft.
In addition, the history of the airline can be traced back to a region of the United States known as the Mississippi Delta. This region is located in the south central part of the country. The history of the airline can be represented by an airplane with the symbol for the delta painted on the fuselage of the craft.
