#15: The Tale of the Magician’s Assistant (Season 3)
The Tale of the Magician’s Assistant follows Todd Marker, a young man struggling after his father’s death, who becomes the assistant to aging magician Shandu. Todd receives a magical wand with three strict rules but breaks the first, unleashing the demon Nazrak and trapping Shandu in a vortex. Using Shandu’s guidance, Todd tricks Nazrak into returning to the vortex and inherits the wand. Told by Midnight Society member Gary, the episode cautions against breaking rules and unchecked ambition.
