#1: The Tale of Laughing in the Dark (Season 3)
In The Tale of Laughing in the Dark, Zeebo the clown meets a fiery end when his own dropped cigar sets the spook house ablaze. Now his ghost haunts the carnival, appearing as the “big bad wolf” to terrify visitors. The spook house itself is run by a carny played by Aron Tager, who also portrayed Dr. Vink in the series’ first episode. The story riffs on the classic ghost tale The Golden Arm, complete with Zeebo’s lingering cigar smoke and a dummy left to spook future guests.
