#17: Silla Gold Crown (Korea)
Unearthed in royal tombs from the Silla Kingdom, these crowns were made of gold and adorned with jade ornaments called gogok. Their vertical, branch-like extensions may have represented sacred trees or antlers, suggesting a link between royalty and the divine. Too fragile to wear daily, they were likely used in burial or ritual. Today, they are among Korea’s most treasured artifacts.
