#2: Crown of Charlemagne (Holy Roman Empire)
This eight-sided crown was probably created for Charles the Bald, the grandson of Charlemagne. Made with gold plates and gemstones, it was worn for centuries during coronation ceremonies of Holy Roman Emperors. Its design blended Christian and classical imagery to signal divine rule. It is currently located in the Imperial Treasury (Kaiserliche Schatzkammer) at the Hofburg in Vienna.
