#6: The Triple Winner
Pelé is still the only player to win three FIFA World Cups: 1958, 1962, and 1970. Many legends have one. A few have two. Pelé has three, which is the kind of record that sounds unfair until you remember he was Pelé. His 1970 title with Brazil’s legendary team cemented him as the World Cup’s defining individual figure. The debate over the greatest player may continue forever, but this particular trophy-count argument is not very open.
