Just Some Polite Conversation
Sometimes, and only sometimes you might feel like speaking to a customer, asking how their day was, that kind of thing. It doesn’t happen often, so when it does you expect customers to be very appreciative. In the chance that they aren’t you can feel a little… frustrated.
Ok ok, it can feel very frustrating when you converse with a customer and they don’t respond, but it isn’t necessarily their fault. Perhaps they didn’t hear you, or they have a hearing impairment. Sometimes giving people the benefit of the doubt is all you need to do.
