Working in customer service can get a little monotonous sometimes, so it can be nice when you have something to break up the day, like a phone call. But you have to be careful how to handle customer phone calls because if dealt with incorrectly, you might be stuck on the phone for hours.
Anyone who has worked in customer service knows this one a little too well. Sure, it can be nice to speak to a customer on the phone in order to help them with their purchase, but the second they start yapping on about their whole life story, you will wish you never picked up the phone.
