One of the most mesmerizing predators in the sea is the anglerfish. It has a tiny light on its head that looks very much like a fishing lure, which it employs to attract prey that otherwise would have been unattainable under normal circumstances.
The light, produced by a special organ, has always had an appeal for fish at great ocean depths where light hardly reaches. Huge mouth and sharp teeth make it easy for the anglerfish to gulp down its prey.
