#6: Fast Times (1986)
The comedy film Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) inspired the television series Fast Times (1986), featuring the same characters with a different cast. Writer Cameron Crowe served as a creative consultant, but the adaptation failed to connect with viewers. It was canceled after only seven episodes.
