#13: How I Met Your Father
In an attempt to rekindle the love audiences had for How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014), Hulu created a similar series titled How I Met Your Father. The set-up between the two shows is the same, with the mother or father telling their kids how they met their spouse through elaborate flashbacks and narration. However, the spin-off had no characters in common with the original save for minor guest spots by HIMYM cast members Cobie Smulders and Neil Patrick Harris. The series was canceled after two seasons.
