26 Disappointing TV Spin-Offs

March 30, 2025 by Talia Ben Itzhak

#2: Tabitha

Following the twinkling heels of Bewitched (1964-1972) came Tabitha a few years later. Starring Lisa Hartman as Tabitha, the witch daughter of Samantha and Darrin, we watched as the young woman made a go of it as a production assistant in L.A. Unfortunately, the spin-off just didn’t capture the magic that the original show had. It premiered in September 1977 and was canceled after only 11 episodes.
