#7: Wendy’s SuperBar (1980s)
In the 1980s, Wendy’s introduced their hugely popular self-serve buffet, known as the SuperBar. Packed with tons of options, the SuperBar served everything from salads to tacos to pastas. Eventually, though, the labor-intensive nature of the buffet’s upkeep and the changing preferences of their customer base caused Wendy’s to shut down the SuperBar in the late 1990s.
