#15: Oliver and Company
Over 20 years after its last animated musical film, The Jungle Book, Oliver and Company shook audiences. Released in 1988, the early part of the Disney renaissance, this twist on Oliver Twist let the dogs (and cats) out in New York City.

With musical numbers by artists like Billy Joel, who also starred as Dodger, Huey Lewis, and J.A.C. Redford, this movie’s score is iconic, to say the least. Although it had mixed reviews when it was released, fans still love Oliver and Company–despite how little attention it gets these days.
