Pinocchio’s name conjures up thoughts of his nose growing when the puppet sits in wait for his master. You might get the impression that he was making up for all of his white lies in the movie. We guess the food of the nose is lies. Feed me lies and I grow!

Despite this, he only develops a nose once during the entire film! It’s likely that he made up the narrative about seeing “two large monsters with big green eyes” in order to get out of the house on time for school in order to demonstrate his maturity as the story’s protagonist.
